The "Withdraw from contract here" button
in place and proven, no code

Since 19 June 2026, consumers must be able to withdraw online and receive an immediate acknowledgement. Terms and the model form are no longer enough. The module installs the complete function and leaves every refund decision to you.

Features

The withdrawal function
required by law, complete

The link everywhere, automatically

The link appears at the bottom of every page, in My account on each order still within the period, and in the order confirmation e-mail. Nothing to paste.

Built for guest checkout

Guests find their order with its number and e-mail; logged-in customers pick it from their list; the e-mail link opens the right order directly.

Two steps, as the law requires

Name, order and e-mail prefilled; whole order or selected items and quantities; then the "Confirm withdrawal" button.

Immediate acknowledgement

An e-mail is sent at once with the full declaration, the date and time of receipt and your return instructions. You get a copy with the points to check.

Proof in case of dispute

Every declaration is stored in WooCommerce › Withdrawals: server timestamp, content, IP address, a fingerprint proving nothing was changed, CSV export. Configurable retention, automatic anonymisation.

You stay in control

Nothing is refunded automatically. Late requests are never blocked: they are flagged to you, like excluded items or professional customers, and you decide.

Deadline computed by the rules

The deadline is shown to the customer: 14 days after receipt, extended to the next working day when it falls on a weekend or public holiday.

EU legal guarantee notice

Optionally, the official EU notice on the two-year legal guarantee, unaltered: product page tab, dedicated page and legal pages of your choice.

What should you know before buying?

No automatic refund and no return label: you handle each request from the order.

The exact delivery date is only known if your shop records it; otherwise the deadline is estimated from shipping, with no consequence for the customer since nothing is ever refused.

Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically.

French and English; the EU notice is provided in both languages.

Not legal advice: the guide gives the clause to add to your terms and the official references.

Licence, updates and support

Licence for one WooCommerce shop (1 licence = 1 shop, per platform): a PrestaShop shop would need a second licence, bought on the PrestaShop page. One-off purchase, no time limit on use.

12 months of updates and support included from the purchase (current version downloadable from your client area, new versions announced by e-mail).

Then an optional “Entretien” (care plan) at 20% of the licence price per year (€15.80 excl. VAT per year): updates and support extended for one year, with no catch-up for past years. Without it, the module keeps working.

Code released under the free GPL-2.0-or-later licence: the rights that licence grants on the code remain whole; the Pikali licence covers the use in your shop, the updates and the support.

FAQ

Any questions about Bouton de rétractation?

What does the law require?

Since 19 June 2026 (Directive (EU) 2023/2673, Article 11a of Directive 2011/83/EU), an online shop must offer a visible "withdraw from contract here" function throughout the withdrawal period, a form for name, contract and e-mail, a "confirm withdrawal" button and an immediate acknowledgement stating the content, date and time. The module does all of this.

My customers order as guests: how do they withdraw?

With their order number and the order e-mail, or through the link in their confirmation e-mail.

What about requests after 14 days?

They are recorded and acknowledged anyway, flagged as late, and you decide. The module never refuses a declaration.

Does the module refund the customer?

No. You refund from the order when you decide to.
